Please note: This rod magnet is diametrically magnetised. This means that these rods will not join end-to-end lengthwise, but rather side-by-side, like fish fingers. This allows for interesting experiments but is rather uncommon in everyday life.
Most rod magnets in our assortment are axially magnetised - such as the identical S-04-10-AN, which you should use to hang up photos, for instance.
