Description

This strong rubberised white magnet system with L-hook is the perfect wall-hanging solution. The square hook has a diameter of 5 mm. In addition to office supplies, cooking utensils or light clothing, you can also use it to hang framed pictures and other decorations weighing up to approx. 7,5 kg on the wall.

Thanks to its coating made of white rubber, the magnet system with a diameter of 66 mm protects delicate surfaces from scratches. The rubber coating also increases the load capacity in shear direction and provides slip resistance (see FAQ about displacement force). The rubber coating protects the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. However, permanent outdoor use can lead to rust on the magnet and the L-hook.

Please note:
If you want to reposition the magnet system, please do not attempt to remove it by dragging it along the mounting surface. This will damage the rubber coating. Instead, remove the magnet by tilting it with the help of a plastic handle. You can find a suitable handle for this magnet system linked below.

Due to their shape, L-hooks are only suitable as wall hooks and not as a hanging solution on the ceiling (in the tension direction). The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about magnet system characteristics.

The structure of magnet systems

In magnet systems, one or several magnets are mounted on a steel plate with alternating poles. This concentrates the adhesive force of the magnets on one side of the system which, in turn, has a positive effect on the adhesive force. The steel plate with the magnets is encased in rubber. For more information, please refer to our FAQ page on the characteristics of magnet systems.
